2.         A FEW (JUST 4!) DOS AND DON’TS

(1)        STAINS – We’ve left “Make-up wipes” in the bathroom for you to use, to avoid make-up stains on towels and bed linen. Sorry, we’ve tried to give quality linen and the cost of replacement is high (the king duvet cover alone is £43!). In case you use hair dye, we ask you to bring your own towel/pillow protector. Make up, hair dye, food stains and other damages will be charged at cost.

(2)        DOORS & WINDOWS – Just as at home, for your safety please close all windows and doors when you go out. Please turn off appliances and lights.

(3)        CLEANING – The property is cleaned for your arrival and following your departure. Should you need them, there are cleaning equipment in the understairs cupboard i.e., vacuum, dustpan and brush etc.

We supply washing up liquid, laundry tablets and dishwasher tablets to get you started. If you need more, you will need to purchase them in town.

There are tea towels and dishcloths supplied for a week stay with spares in the drawers in the kitchen.

We ask that you leave the house in a good condition and ready to be prepared for the next guests.

(4)        BINS – Please would you make sure that all waste is bagged in the black bags provided and placed in the green Cumbria Waste bin outside the door.

Any problems should be reported to us as quickly as possible. Our mobile 07490 768 983.

Our rooms would unfortunately not be able to accommodate a wheelchair. Assistance dogs are free of charge but please let us know at the time of booking or on arrival.

As a whole Bowness by its nature is built up the hill from the Lake shore. Note – disabled parking is available by the lake shore.

16.       DEPARTURE

Departure time is 10.00am and we would be grateful if you would be prompt as possible as we need plenty of time to ensure the property is thoroughly cleaned and prepared ready for the next guests.
